Of all the members of legendary rock band Queen, the most
celebrated must be Freddie Mercury, born in Zanzibar to Iranian
parents. A flamboyant showman, such was his appeal that
subsequent to his death some of the greatest performers of the
era gathered together to perform covers of his material at
Wembley stadium.
